STAY CALM
If you experience some sort of dental accident, the best thing you can do is to stay calm. While you may feel inclined to panic due to the pain and stress of an injury, you can take comfort knowing it can be treated, and our team is here to help get you back to a healthy, pain-free smile.
REDUCE BLEEDING
Once you’ve gained control of the situation, take assessment of your injury. If you’re experiencing any bleeding, place a strip of gauze on the site of the injury and apply pressure with your by biting down on the gauze.
CONTROL SWELLING
Over-the-counter medications like ibuprofen or acetaminophen can help to temporarily reduce pain and swelling. However, steer clear of any blood-thinning medications like aspirin. An ice pack or cold compress can be applied to the cheek near the affected area to help reduce pain and inflammation.

How do I schedule my preventive care?
Simply call our office and set up an appointment for yourself or your family members.!
How can I use my Member Exclusive discount for restorative, elective or cosmetic treatment?
Simply schedule an appointment with our office and be sure to tell us you’re a member. When you arrive, we’ll make sure your membership is “current” and you will be eligible for instant savings off our regular fees.
How do I know if I need Perio membership?
If you’re a current patient, please contact us to confirm you’re on Perio Maintenance. If you are a new patient, we will make a recommendation after your initial exam.
What happens if I miss an appointment?
It will be your responsibility to reschedule. Please see our office policy regarding no-shows and last minute cancellations.
Can I add members to my account?
Absolutely! Your entire family can join.
Can I transfer my membership to another dentist?
Your club membership is solely with our office and as such is non-transferrable. If you move to another area, you may cancel your membership at any time.
How can I check on the status of my account?
Login to your Member Portal and look under Account Members. You’ll see the status of each member above his/her name.
Can I change or update my billing information?
Yes! Simply login to your Member Portal and click “Edit Your Payment Method”.
How do I cancel my membership?
Login to your Member Portal and click the “Remove” button for each member you’d like to cancel.
If I cancel, can I get a refund on my membership?
No. Refunds will not be provided for dues paid under any circumstances, including failure to schedule and maintain appointments.
How much do I pay to sign up for my club membership?
You’ll pay only the Lifetime Activation fee to join. This fee includes your first month’s membership dues.
Can I prepay my membership fees?
Memberships are currently month-to-month only.
What information is required for me to sign up for my club membership?

Dr. Shewski prioritizes comfort and care when treating patients, creating a warm, friendly environment. He believes that every smile is beautiful, and strives to help his patients maintain healthy, functional teeth that are uniquely theirs – while opening up new possibilities for desired appearance and change. Above all, Dr. Shewski loves helping people, and it shows in his own smile and gentle nature. A native of Plano, Dr. Shewski has local family roots and loves that he is serving his community by providing excellent dental care. Dr. Shewski attended dental school at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas after graduating from the University of Arkansas with a BS in Biology. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and regular provider for Watermark Urgent Care in Dallas. Dr. Shewski has experience in a wide range of treatment, including restorative dentistry, root canals, extractions and more – and he continues to spend time outside of his day to day practice furthering his dental knowledge through continuing education. Dr. Shewski is Invisalign certified and an active member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Peter Barnett
Born and raised in New York City, Dr. Peter Barnett spent many hours with his grandparents who were both dentists. He has spent the last 40 years in dental and health care management.
He is a recognized leader in the dental insurance industry, as well as a respected businessman owning and managing practices for many years in the northeast and now in Texas. Dr. Barnett provides almost 40 years of experience and knowledge in his care of our patients. His philosophy is that all dentistry is cosmetic dentistry – with the goal of giving patients results that are not only functional but are also appealing to the eye.
He strives to give his patients the best treatment available today to maintain healthy, functional teeth, while also recognizing his patient’s desire to improve their smiles. Dr. Barnett also focuses on the treatment of head, neck and jaw joint muscles and the nerve system that allows the jaw to function – through his Texas Headache Relief program.
Dr. Barnett attended dental school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 1977. He completed his residency at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York. He is licensed to practice in five states: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas and New Mexico.
Dr. Barnett has also been awarded a MBA in Healthcare Management from the Wharton School of Business. A published author of numerous articles on dentistry and health care, Dr. Barnett has served as a frequent lecturer at dental schools and elsewhere, and maintains membership in the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
